Hoax messages spread the panic
|
I have been receiving these crap emails of late after the recent Bangalore and Ahmedabad blasts :
Dear All,
The State Government has requested the people to avoid going to public
places in Chennai like City Centre / Spencer Plaza / shopping malls /
temples / theaters / social gathering places etc..
From today 28/07/08 - red alert is declared all over chennai following
the serial blasts in Bangalore and Ahemadabad. Its been guessed
by the intelligence department that the terror groups were following
the word "BACK"
B - Bangalore
A - Ahemadabad
C - Chennai
K - Kolkata -Reuters
We request one and all to intimate
their near & dears, not to ignore the message as, the facts in reality are substantiating.

The other day many people were arrested for spreading hoax messages which read dont go near Gemini fly over, bomb threat lurks there..
The word PANIC has spread amongst the people and some are out there having fun sending hoax messages.
Hope these messages stop and people retain their calm. |
