Cheers! India has won its first Gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, thanks to Abhinav Bindra. He snatched the Gold in Men's 10m Air Rifle. In the qualification he was ranked 4th. But turned out victorious in the finals. So cheers for Abhinav and India. India has won the Gold after 28 years. The last time India won the Gold, was for Hockey. But, this is the first individual Gold. So, Kudos to Abhinav and hope this raises others to get medals for India. Chak De India
